Crystals
lend themselves to many forms of energy work and here are some you may
wish to try. As always,
use respect and discernment when magnifying the energy with crystals.
Crystal
Mandala:
Magnifying crystals with other crystals is an extremely potent method
of moving energy. All
crystals used in this arrangement should of course always be clean and
cleared, and programmed for general energy work.
Use one large crystal at the center of your circle, pointing
upwards, or a crystal cluster. Choose
several generators single or double terminators for arranging around
the center, on the four cardinal directions, and the intermediary
directions if you have enough. Point
them outwards. You may
add other smaller crystals or even favorite objects, such as feathers,
seeds, talismans, rosary, and flowers.
Once it is all put together you must energize the whole mandala
by using a crystal pendulum and swinging it around clockwise.
Alternatively you may use a small crystal in your hand, moving
in circles around the perimeter.
Use over your birth chart to gather energy for specific
projects, to create an energy bubble for protection, to balance your
homes energy, etc. Add
incense and candles if you like.
NOTE: this creates an enormous amount of energy if left in
place and charged daily so please remember that its there.
Its energy will 'follow' you even if you are across the city.
If you cannot sleep or are feeling restless or irritable its
time to dismantle it.
Gem
Elixirs: This
is the fastest, most potent way to move energy within your body.
To wear a crystal is fine; to drink one is better.
Gem elixirs are a combination of pure water, sunshine, and a
crystal. Making them is
simple. Use perfect,
clean, cleared, and programmed crystals for your elixirs.
Find a clean, clear glass jar or bowl with no designs or
etching on it. Fill it
with pure water. Drop
your crystal into the water and place it in the sunshine.
Early morning is best, and on a cloudless day. You will need 5 hours of full sun to charge the water.
Leave uncovered if the environment is clean, otherwise place
some wax paper over top with an elastic.
Do not disturb. When water is charged remove the stone with a clean wooden
spoon or by tipping the water into a clean jar.
DO NOT USE METAL, as it will discharge the energy.
Storing in blue or amber bottles is best.
You may add 20 drops of Liquid Oxygen to preserve or some
brandy. This is the
Mother Essence and may be diluted or used straight.
Dose:
take 3-7 drops, 4 times per day for 2 weeks, and then stop for 2
weeks. Repeat as needed. Gem elixirs are extremely powerful. They can be used to heal, to balance our mind and bodies and
emotions, and to receive spiritual insights.
If you notice extreme emotions surfacing while on gem elixirs
it is a release. However,
be mindful and use common sense.
Too much releasing is very uncomfortable for you and those
around you. Note: it can take many lifetimes of inner work
to release all the baggage and karma we have collected so do not be
tempted to say you will just hang in there till its all gone.
Grid
Pattern: This
is about making a wall of crystals in your living space and it carries
considerable charge. You
may use either crystal generators for this or chunks of quartz any
size, although larger crystals will carry more power.
Place crystals about 1 foot apart along the floor of the north
and east walls of your room. For
even more energy place along all 4 walls.
Bookshelves or bricks and planks may be used to stack them up
vertically, keeping them all aligned with each other. This greatly energizes and clears and balances the room.
It is extremely intense so should only be used for a short time
until you get used to the energy.
This pattern will magnify all energies within the room, all
people and their moods, animals, music, arguments, etc.
Keep this in mind!
Pyramids:
Pyramids can be made of almost any substance: wood, copper, gold or
silver, crystal, stone, granite.
They must be made absolutely accurate so unless you are an
expert in pyramid construction do not attempt this as your structure
will not work. A properly
constructed pyramid will energize and heal, or preserve, whatever is
placed within. The most
powerful areas are the point approximately 1/3 down from the top and
1/3 from the base. Using
a small ledge inside and placing your objects on that will bring them
to this level. Pyramids
MUST be aligned to magnetic north or the effects are virtually
useless. You can use your
pyramid to program other crystals, used at the center of a mandala, or
for healing people. For
healing its best to write the persons name on a paper and place it
inside. Pyramids can often remove headaches when placed on the
persons head.
Dowsing
Rods and Pendulums:
Simple dowsing rods can be made from 2 metal coat hangers.
Cut and bend them so that you have 2 L shapes with one side
longer. Place a cut off
straw around the short side which you will hold in your hands.
The other side should point away from you.
This allows the handle end to move smoothly within your hands.
Rods can be used to detect water, to detect the extent of
someone’s aura, condition of chakras, or congested energies within a
household or a piece of land. Ley
lines are found by this method.
Pendulums
can be made of crystals, stones, lead or any metal. The line can be made of string or rope or a fine silver
chain. All work equally
well. A spinning crystal
pendulum can energize a mandala, a chakra, or anything you like.
Many people use it as an oracle by asking a question and
watching which way the pendulum moves.
This takes practice and a neutral mindset.
Linear
Accelerator:
This
is a power tool you can make to clear and energize your home, car, or
property. You need a
crystal generator (wand style is best), about 4-6 inches long, and as
clear as you can find. You
also need a piece of round copper tubing, about 1" in diameter
and 1 foot long. It should be open at one end and with a copper cap at
the other. Any plumbing
store can do this for you. You’ll
also need leather to cover it in the form of a long strip about
2" wide. First
insert the crystal into the open end of the tube and fix it firmly in
place by using bits of leather wedged in and around it.
You may also crimp together that end of the tube.
Next take your strip of leather white is good, but any color
will do and start winding it around the tube from one end to the
other, covering all the copper. It
is important that your hands to not touch the copper when using this
tool.
You
now have an extraordinarily powerful tool, capable of stopping traffic
lights or injuring a person, so PLEASE BE CAREFUL.
Do not point it at anyone ever.
What you can do is aim it at far corners of your house inside
or out where you cannot reach, and focus clearing energy there.
Use a swirling motion and ask that contaminated energy disperse
and dissolve as you break it up with your wand.
It can also be used to charge a mandala or medicine wheel.
Quartz
Temple Bowls:
These are beautiful bowls in many sizes which, when rubbed gently with
a soft wand will sing at a predetermined frequency.
Their sound has the ability to heal and balance, and is, at the
very least, soothing to the mind-body-emotions.
They are precious to own and use but they are expensive.
You may also make wonderful gem elixirs in these bowls.
They can be used at the center of a mandala or in a sacred
ritual. Temple bowls are
also available in copper and other metals and can be used in some of
these ways.
Cut
and Polished Crystals:
As a rule crystals perform best if we leave them as Nature intended.
However there have been a few gifted individuals throughout
time who have seen the possibilities of using quarts to work with
energy in a superb manner. They
have taken a crystal generator and carved it into a smooth shape,
using the original form to guide them, but smoothing off rough edges.
Then it is polished to a high sheen.
When this work is done the craftsperson uses their finely tuned
intuition to keep the intended purpose in mind, or the intended person
to receive the crystal. In
this way a very personalized tool is formed.
These crystals will do much more than the original but an
expert must craft them. There
are many polished crystals around and they have merely been tumbled in
a tumbler for a long time to bring their sheen.
The personally crafted crystals come at a steep price several
hundred to over $1000.oo for such a piece.
Platforms:
Rose quartz rarely comes with terminations so it is ideal for carving.
Sometimes you can find slabs of rose quartz, which have been
polished to a high sheen. These
are inexpensive and can be used for the center of a mandala, the base
of a vertical generator, or to place under a pyramid.
They energize anything placed upon them, thus are suitable for
healing rituals.
Chunks:
Rose quartz is frequently sold in pet stores as aquarium
rocks. It comes in chunks
of all sizes and is about as reasonably-priced as you will find. These are excellent as markers for outdoor medicine wheels or
for crystal grids within your home or property.
Singing
Crystals:
These are slender clear quartz crystals measuring from about 2"
to 6". Diameter is
about 1/4". When
tapped lightly with another crystal they give off a lovely ringing
sound. Sound pitch varies depending upon the size of the crystal.
Their singing energy is said to bring in the tiny Earth spirits
like fairies, elves, and gnomes.
Crystal
Miscellaneous:
Clear
quartz from Arkansas is said to be better quality than that which
comes from Brazil. These
are our 2 major sources of quartz.
Amethyst from Brazil is a much deeper purple and has fewer
flaws than that from Thunder Bay, ON.
Placing
a tiny quartz generator or cluster in your shower head will energize
the water falling over your body and remove a great deal of our static
electricity (stress). Crystals
have a strong affinity with the element of water and any proximity to
water in your home will be beneficial.
In the kitchen you can place a small cluster near the sink.
Putting a large cluster on the dinner table brings family
communication and a sense of joyousness.
Sodalite is a dark blue
crystal which is useful for throat area and communication, but is
most suited to people at a less-evolved level, since this stone is
in its early stages of development. Tigers Eye is also in
early development but affords great help to those whose
understanding is limited, too. Jasper is a good stone to use
for understanding issues around sexual abuse. It is somewhat
grounding. Bloodstone is a form of Jasper but of a more
greenish color with flecks of red. It is a powerful healing
stone but should not be used until one has considerable experience.
blue Topaz works well at the throat and especially for singers.
It has a clearer color and therefore a higher frequency, hence works
at a more refined level of communication than Sodalite, Lapis
Lazuli, or Turquoise.
Pearls heal the emotions.
If you are drawn to pearls you may have found a way to do some very
deep healing on deep issues. Hurts, pain, and suffering of all
forms respond well, over time, to wearing or using pearls.
Coral in white, red, or
angelskin, is very spiritual and brings us to high levels of
understanding. Male gurus in India wear red coral. White
or angelskin is more suited to women. Red works on the heart
development and white works on the intellect. Black coral
should NEVER be worn. It is used for black magic in places
like Haiti and the Philippines. Do not even keep it in your
house. It is frequently made into jewelry in Hawaii or the
West Indies. Don't buy it.
Opal has a particular energy
that can be fiery or watery or both at once. Its energy is
erratic but healing to the right person. It can be used for
traumas or any severe emotional state. Do not use it lightly;
if you are not profoundly drawn to its energy (not its looks!), then
it is not for you.
Apache Tears will help you
understand issues from past lives. You may even see right into
one by placing one Tear in each hand and focusing upon them.
Apache Tears are made of Obsidian, a volcanic rock that is generally
very solid black. Tears, however, are translucent.
Obsidian
has occasional snowflake designs upon it or a brownish color.
Its a deep dark mystery stone and can be used to uncover the
past or gaze into dark issues.
As
a rule the color of the stone tells you which part of the body, or
which chakra, it is most suited to.
The transparency tells you at what level the stone is working.
Root = red; Sacral = orange; Solar Plexus = yellow; Heart =
green/pink; Throat = blue; Brow = violet; Crown = white.
To
understand a stone much better you need to do something called pathwork.
Hold the stone in both hands over your heart center and gaze
gently at it. Then close
your eyes and visualize yourself either very small, or the stone very
large so that you may walk into it. Once inside use all your senses: hearing, taste, sight, touch,
and smell to determine its properties.
Spend as much time there as you are able. Ask questions of the stone.
Pay attention and note any new information you have gleaned in
this manner.
There
are as many opinions on gemstones as there are people.
One book will contradict another.
For this reason I ask that you use the above guidelines, but
most of all, use your intuition to guide you.
If you are drawn to a particular stone it is likely one very
suitable for you at this time.
Techniques: Everything you do with a crystal in your hand will be
magnified, and more effective, than without.
All energy work, Reiki, massage, ritual, prayer, and requests
for Guidance will be magnified. Sometimes
this is beneficial and sometimes not.
Know this. Here
are some techniques which are helpful for your own personal protection
and well being. Many require a crystal; some do not. But if you add a crystal to these techniques they will add to
the effectiveness of the technique.
A
psychic attack happens when someone says or does or even thinks
something unkind about another person, present or not.
The victim may feel weak, headache, cold sweat, shortness of
breath, heart palpitations, confusion, nausea, illness, depressed,
dizzy, clammy, or uncoordinated. It comes on suddenly.
This may last for only 15 minutes or for several days, until
someone can repair the damage. To
repair damage and to help prevent it in future there are many things
we can do.
Strengthen
Aura: Stand
up, with a 2" to 8" generator in your dominant hand,
pointing at your solar plexus about 3" from your body.
Visualize your energy field as a smooth, flawless, clear white
bubble which extends about 18" all the way around you and above
and below. Take your time
to visualize this in a state of perfection.
There must be no holes or bars or lines.
Once its in place, take a deep breath and hold it.
Remove the crystal. Breathe.
Each time you do this you create an improved protective barrier
around yourself, magnified by the crystal.
Do this daily until you feel less vulnerable to attack and
draining. Two weeks is
good. If you don’t need
it every day do not do it. It’s
only for when you need it.
Waterfall:
Standing, visualize yourself standing under a waterfall.
See this as Light cascading down over your head and body down
to your feet. As this
washes over you visualize it taking away stresses and accumulation of
psychic debris. If you do this while in the shower it takes on even greater
effectiveness. Hold a
crystal in your hand, or wear one, while you do this to maximize its
potential.
Brushing:
Take a generator in your hand and brush it over your head and down
your entire body several times, from top to toes.
Shake after each stroke. Concentrate
on head area. This
removes daily stress buildup, whether you own or from others.
It imparts a refreshing, clean feeling.
This can be done at work or anywhere you feel the need.
Tower
of Light: Hold
a crystal or wear one. Visualize
your aura in clear, bright blue, extending about 9" around your
body and 16" above and below.
Breathe deeply as you do this.
Next, visualize a very bright ball of pure white Light, like
burning magnesium, about 3" above your head.
See this Light sending it’s bright white sparkling light
completely through your aura, falling and filling it entirely.
It is sparkly and shimmery.
It represents your Higher Self.
Keep the perimeter in blue and the inside in pure white.
Practice this often so that you may do it at a moments notice
(with or without crystal). With
time it should come in instantly when you need it.
For added protection you may add a sacred symbol on your brow.
