Spherical BreathingThe
Merkaba (the 3-dimensional image above) is made up of two interlocking
tetrahedrons in a manner that resembles the Star of David, but
3-dimensionally. The star
tetrahedron represents male and female energy in perfect balance.
There is a star tetrahedron around everything, not just humans.
The merkaba is created by counter-rotating fields of energy.
The mental star tetrahedron, electrical and male, rotates to the
left. The emotional star
tetrahedron, magnetic and female, rotates to the right.
This
meditation is done in a series of 14 breaths.
The first 6 are for balancing the polarities within the chakras and
also for cleansing these electrical circuits.
The next 7 reestablish the proper pranic flow through the body and
recreate spherical breathing
within the body. The 14th
breath changes the balance of pranic energy within the body from 3rd
dimensional to 4th dimensional awareness. These
breaths are the first 14 in a series of 17 used to create the
counter-rotating fields of the merkaba around the body.
Because the internal merkaba can only be created with the emotional
body intact, it is absolutely necessary to open your heart and feel love
and unity for all life while doing this meditation.
You do this to the best of your ability, of course.
Begin
by sitting in a comfortable, relaxed position.
Close your eyes. When you feel calm and relaxed, expand your feelings to a
state of love and unity for all life everywhere, and also visualize the
star tetrahedron around your body. On
the inhale of the first breath, visualize the male tetrahedron.
This is the one with the apex facing up.
The base of the tetrahedron, which is just above the knees when you
are standing, is facing toward the front for males and toward the back
for females. Visualize to
the best of your ability this male tetrahedron filled with brilliant white
light. Your body is surrounded by this light. Also
on this first breath arrange your hands, palms up, with the thumb and
index finger lightly touching. This
is a mudra. Do not allow any
of your other fingers to touch one another.
Inhale through your nose in a deep, relaxed, rhythmic manner for 7
seconds, bringing the breath up from the stomach, then to the diaphragm,
and finally to the chest.
Do this all in one movement.
Then without pausing at the top of the inhale, begin your exhale.
Exhale slowly through your nose for 7 seconds.
As you exhale, visualize the female tetrahedron.
This is the one with the apex facing down, the point at the
level of the solar plexus facing the back for males, and the front
for females. Again
visualize this tetrahedron filled with brilliant white light. After
you have completed the exhale in 7 seconds, relax and hold your breath
for 5 seconds. Move your eyes
toward each other (look slightly cross-eyed), then look up and immediately
look down to the ground as fast as you can.
At the same time visualize the white light in the female
tetrahedron shooting out through the apex of the tetrahedron and into the
Earth. As
you do this you should feel an electrical sensation moving down your
spine. This is pulsing.
You are clearing out the negativity in the part of your electrical
system that is associated with the mudra you used. Immediately
after pulsing the energy down your spine, begin the second breath.
This breath is exactly the same as the first except for one thing: a different mudra is used.
Hold the thumbs and second fingers together For
the third-breath mudra, hold the thumb and third finger (ring finger)
together. For the
fourth-breath mudra, hold the thumb and little finger together.
For the fifth-breath mudra, hold the thumb and index finger
together just as in the first breath.
For the sixth-breath mudra, hold the thumb and second finger
together, as in the second breath. The
next 7 breaths begin in a different breathing pattern.
It is no longer necessary to visualize the male tetrahedron on the
inhale and the female tetrahedron on the exhale.
Instead you visualize the tube that runs through the body.
This tube extends one hand length above the head and one hand
length below the feet. In
other words, the tube runs through the apex of the male tetrahedron, which
extends one hand length above your head.
It also runs through the apex of the female tetrahedron, extending
one hand length below your feet. The
diameter of your tube is exactly the same as the diameter of the hole
formed when your thumb and middle finger are touching. Begin
the 7th inhale immediately after the pulse, following the 6th exhale.
Inhale rhythmically, taking about 7 seconds.
As you begin the 7th inhale, visualize the tube running through
your body as well as brilliant white light running up and down the tube at
the same time. In other words, visualize prana running down the tube from
over your head and simultaneously running up the tube from beneath your
feet. At
some point you instantly do have brilliant white light running up and
down your tube. Now visualize
the light meeting inside the tube at the level of the navel.
As the two beams of light meet, a sphere of light about the size of
a grapefruit forms and slowly begins to grow. This
all happens in the instant you begin the 7th inhale.
As you continue to inhale for 7 seconds, the sphere of prana slowly
grows. At the end of the 7th
inhale, immediately begin your exhale.
There is no more holding of the breath and no more pulsing. For
the next 7 breaths use the same mudra (index and 2nd fingers touching
the thumb, palms up). As you
begin to exhale the prana continues flowing from each end of the tube and
expanding the sphere centered at the navel. By the time of the full exhale (7 seconds), the sphere of
prana will be about 8-9” in diameter. Begin
on the 8th breath immediately after the 7th exhale.
On the 8th breath the prana sphere continues to grow until it
reaches its max. Size at the end of the exhale (roughly the size of a
volleyball). On
the 9th breath, the sphere cannot grow bigger, so it grows brighter.
Visualize the sphere growing brighter and brighter on both inhale
and exhale. On
the 10 the breath, continue to visualize the sphere growing brighter.
About halfway through the inhale, the sphere will reach critical
mass and ignite into a sun. As
you begin to exhale, make a small hole with your lips and blow the air out
your mouth like you are forcing it out.
Then let it all go with a final whoosh. As you do, the ignited sun expands outward to form a sphere
around your body. Your whole
body is now inside a sphere of charged white light.
The
sphere is not yet stable at this point, however.
It took all your energy just to get it out there.
It will take 3 more breaths to stabilize it. The
11th, 12th, and 13th breaths are needed to stabilize the sphere.
Inhale and exhale just as for the 7th through 9th breaths, all the
while feeling the flow of prana through the tube, meeting at the navel,
and expanding into the sphere around your body.
The
sphere is now stabilized. You are now ready for the all-important 14th breath.
The 14th breath attunes us to the 4th dimension.
At the beginning of the inhale of the 14th breath, you move the
point where the two streams of prana meet up from the navel to the
sternum. The entire large
sphere around your body moves up as the original small sphere, which is
still contained within the large sphere, rises to the sternum.
Having the prana meet here tunes you to fourth dimensional or
Christ-consciousness. As you
do this you also change the mudra. Males
place the left palm on top of the right palm with the thumbs lightly
touching; females place the right palm on top of the left with the thumbs
lightly touching. Keep this mudra for the remainder of the meditation. As
you continue to breathe from your Christ-consciousness center, switch
to shallow, relaxed breathing and let yourself feel the flow of prana and
love for as long as you like. Ten
minutes or more is good. It
is important to hold thoughts of love, truth, beauty, trust, harmony, and
peace. In the 4th dimension
thoughts are instantly transformed into reality.
Practice
this daily until you become a conscious breather.
This sphere of light creates a powerful field of protection.
